Who We Are
The LCFM is comprised of a volunteer Board of Directors and a Market Manager. Our board is a group of passionate community members, dedicated to helping local farmers, artisans and food vendors connect to the greater Leavenworth community. Welcome new 2020 Board Member: Gabby Page! She’s joining Molly Hemler, Brittany Thurlow, Hana Butler, Stacia Lee, Dan Wilkinson, Hernan Savastano, Tricia Petersen, Cali Osborne and Kim Nelson. We’re excited to have your skills and positive energy helping direct the market for the 2020 Market Season. A huge thank you to our past board members: Nadine Witkowski and Marcy Ostrom for ALL the amazing energy and love you put into the market, we appreciate you!
The LCFM is always looking for passionate individuals dedicated to promoting access to locally produced food for everyone within the community. Volunteer opportunities include:
Market Day: Help with setup/takedown for the market & vendors as well as any necessary cleanup
Marketing Committee: Work with the LCFM Board to create engaging and creative marketing strategies, events and projects to promote the market
Fundraising Committee: Assist in the preparation and execution of a variety of programs and fundraising events throughout the year

After graduating from the University of Washington with a Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW), my mission was clear. I wanted to help non-profits make a greater impact on our community. For me, that meant helping them build relationships (aka fundraise!).
I have since worked for organizations of various sizes and missions in Washington State and worked all over the development spectrum: event management, individual giving, sponsorship programs, volunteer management, grant writing, board development, external communications, and rebranding. I am excited to be putting these skills to use here in Leavenworth, making sure the back end operations of the Market stay in tip top shape!
When I’m not working for the Market, I can be found on a bike, teaching yoga, or in the mountains hiking or skiing. Most of these activities involve my husband, Ross, our sweet baby, Cedar, and our adorable labradoodle, Salty.
The LCFM is will be looking for new Board Members to join our amazing team in the late Fall of 2020. Think about joining this awesome group of folks dedicated to promoting access to locally produced food and goods for everyone within the community. As a small non-profit, our Market runs predominately off the volunteer efforts of our enthusiastic Board. We welcome and invite anyone who wants to be more involved in making our community Farmers Market an even more amazing space for social gathering, healthy foods and supporting our local economy. If interested, please fill out our interest form and we will get back to you with more info.
